FAQ’s
Please see our frequently asked questions below for quick answers to common queries about our services and processes. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to contact one of our experienced professionals directly. Our team is always happy to provide advice, guidance, or tailored support for your specific project needs.
What is your lead time?
Our lead time is usually around 2-3 weeks from point of order. If you require the works more urgently, we will always do our best to accommodate.
What guarantee do you offer?
We offer a 1 year guarantee.
If I need extra lining carried out on the day, can this be done?
Generally, yes. As long as we have enough material with us, we will be more than happy to complete any extras, and this will be included on your final invoice.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel scheduled works 24 hours prior to our attendance on site. Any works cancelled less than 24 hours before, a day shift will be chargeable.
Can you provide a drawing/plan for our car park?
Unfortunately, we don’t have an inhouse design team, so any plans will need to be provided by yourselves.
What services do you offer?
At W&S we can provide – Road Markings, Road Studs, High friction surfacing, and removal of existing markings.
What information do you need from me to provide a quotation?
Please provide the full site address, surface type (tarmac/block paviours/concrete), along with your requirements. If you have any plans or pictures, this also helps us provide you with a more accurate quotation.
Do you need to do a site visit to be able to quote?
No, as long as you have confirmed the surface type and your requirements, we shouldn’t need to visit site, unless we deem it necessary.
Why are your trucks kept running during our works?
Our trucks are kept on to power the boilers, this maintains the operational temperature required for laying the molten thermoplastic
Can you force dry surfaces?
Yes, but not during rain or if there is a large accumulation of water. We advise that concrete and block paving be allowed to dry naturally and sometimes, depending on the time of year, this can take several days.
