“We’re absolutely amazed with the help Wilson & Scott have given us. The lining is important because it helps with health and safety, guides people around the ground and shows people where they can and can’t go. It’s just great that Wilson & Scott have come in to help our football club.”

PROBLEM

Rushall Olympic Football Club wanted to improve the safety, organisation and overall experience across its site for players, supporters, volunteers and the wider community. With busy match days bringing increased numbers of visitors, it was important that pedestrian movement around the pitch was clearly managed and that supporters could easily identify where they should and should not go. The existing layout required clearer, more visible markings to help reduce confusion, improve crowd movement and create a safer environment for everyone using the ground.

SOLUTION

As part of our commitment to supporting local communities, Wilson and Scott kindly provided the lining works as a charity project for Rushall Olympic Football Club. We upgraded the markings around the pitch, creating clearly defined pedestrian and spectator routes to help guide supporters safely around the ground. The works were carefully planned to provide practical, durable markings that would improve movement on match days while also giving the site a cleaner and more professional appearance.

RESULT

The refreshed lining has created a clearer, safer and more organised environment for everyone visiting Rushall Olympic. Clearly defined pedestrian and spectator routes make it easier for supporters to navigate the ground, helping improve crowd movement and overall site management during busy events. The project has also provided the club with a more welcoming and professional environment, while allowing us to make a positive contribution to the local community through our charity work.

Jet Spray

For this project, we used a specialist buggy jet spray machine, operated from a compact van, to efficiently apply the new line markings across the car park. MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) cold-applied paint was selected for its excellent durability, visibility and fast curing time, making it well suited to a busy car park with regular vehicle traffic.

The combination of specialist equipment and high-performance materials allowed us to achieve clean, precise markings while keeping disruption to the site to a minimum.
