Training
By constantly investing in leading edge technology combined with our new state of the art training facility and our highly experienced in-house training team, we deliver training to all our employees.
All our workforce and management are equipped with the knowledge and appropriate skills to deliver all our road marking and surfacing projects “right first time”.
Operational and Supervisory staff are provided with training appropriate to their roles, including SSSTS, SMSTS, CSCS and NVQ qualifications
The company operates an Integrated Business Management System certified to numerous International Standards, including National Highways Sector Scheme 7 for line markings, road studs and high friction surfaces. This enables the delivery of contracts and projects to the highest possible standards
Health and Safety

PPE
Personal protective equiptment is extremly important at Wilson and Scott. We are constantly updating our PPE to ensure it is up to date and suitable for the works we carry out. As our operatives use hot materials and heavy equiptment, we make sure they are trained on the correct gear to wear.
As well as this, our crews have spare kit in their vehicles making sure if anything is lost or broken they can still work safely. Any other staff who require visiting works/site are briefed on PPE and given their own personal kit which they must wear during their visit.

This number reflects the reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (UK law). Wilson and Scott are at 1,288,690 hours with no reportable incidents, dangerous equipment failures or serious injuries.
