Heat Stress. Know the facts.
Whilst we are blessed with such beautiful weather we must not forget to look after ourselves and each other.
Heat stress is very dangerous and you must ensure you take all reasonable steps to protect yourself, and others, from the extreme heat.
- Avoid individual work, supervise each other and remain safe
- Drink at least 2 litres of water every 2-3 hours during work. Avoid caffeinated beverages as they promote dehydration of the body
- Protect your head at all times, wear your hard hat on site or a cap / hat if not site based
