APPRENTICESHIPS - YOUR CHANCE TO LEARN AND EARN

Wilson & Scott are big advocates for apprenticeships and Specialist Applied Skills Program. We believe that they are vital to tackle skills shortages and youth unemployment rate. As a business it also gives us the opportunity to play an active role in moulding the future workforce, for our company and the industry, by developing our own talent pool. For the apprentice/trainee it offers a high-quality and respected hands-on training route to a successful career.

These positions are designed for those looking at taking their first steps into the world of work, exiting the military, have other related education/work experience or are looking for a career change.

Taking on apprentices/trainees strengthens our workforce and improves productivity and motivation. We can then harness the fresh talent and train them the way we want them to learn and work right from the start.

Apprenticeship and Specialist Applied Skills Program programs vary in length, typically lasting around 12 – 24 months, working side by side with certified personnel who help to carry out the training and development, enabling you to quickly pave your way in your career.

Once successfully completed, apprentices/trainees are often awarded certification and offered a position with ongoing education and development, so they can continue to grow in their career with us.

An apprenticeship or a Specialist Applied Skills Program is the ideal way to jump start your career. You can get an education and build your skill set, all while being paid, receiving benefits, and with no secondary education expenses.
