Our Policies, Standards & Compliance Manager, Jason Stopps, was proud to attend BSI’s Certification Presentation Day, award ceremony, at BSI’s Kitemark Court to receive the presentation of our ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certificate.

The award was presented by Matt Page, Managing Director – UK & Ireland Assurance Division, BSI. The prestige in achieving the ‘Mark of Trust’ certification from BSI demonstrates Wilson and Scott’s commitment towards ensuring the security of all information, their people, and key stakeholders’ privacy, which is managed by the company. It joins the exceptional achievement of 5 other ISO certifications already held by the company. Including: Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, Road Traffic Safety and Collaborative Working Relationships.

This achievement would not have been possible without the continual support and dedication of everyone at Wilson and Scott and is a testament to being one of the longest standing line marking companies within the UK, celebrating 70yrs of incorporation this year.

Well done to the everyone at Wilson and Scott and thank you to BSI for your continued support in our ISO certifications.

Wilson and Scott are pleased to announce our latest certificate for our ISO 39001, Road Traffic Safety management system.

This great result showcases a continued success on our road to safety, and further enhances our commitment to reducing, and ultimately eliminating, the risk of death or serious injury relating to road traffic incidents.

We would like to once again thank all of our people and supply chain partners for the ongoing support of our “safety starts with me” approach.

I recently went out to the A31 to catch up with some of Wilson and Scott’s new recruits, Sam, and Andy. The guys have been with us now for just over a month but have decades of experience in road markings between them. They both say they’ve enjoyed their time thus far with Wilson and Scott, and we are proud to have them as part of our crew.

Watching Andy lay down some merging arrows on the carriageway, you could really tell he knows his trade inside-out. The duo has a good dynamic and a strong work ethic; I look forward to seeing them on some more sites – especially now they’ve collected their brand-new wagon!

Sam and Andy, we wish both of you the best in your new roles within the Wilson and Scott team.

The crew’s New Wagon, below.

Wilson and Scott are proud to announce a further commitment to investing in leading edge technology, with the delivery of a brand-new line painting lorry, bringing our road marking fleet to number 105. Furthermore, this reinforces our dedication to bringing sustainable vehicles to the forefront of our fleet.

I recently travelled to our Poyle depot to see father and son team, Mick, and Ash Smith, collect their new line painting lorry. Mick was very pleased to pick up his new ‘wagon’, and whilst we discussed the differences between this and their previous lorry, our workshop team were tailoring the wagon to Mick and Ash’s preferences. This allows the guys to perform at their optimum, with all their tools set up to how they like them.

I will be meeting up with Mick and Ash soon to see how they’re getting on with their new wheels.
